Meet up in the parking lot outside The Golden Gate. This is where the scooters will be parked all weekend long. We will take a quick ride down the strip stopping at the Southern Vegas sign and then loop around to the Paradise Cantina (4480 Paradise Road) for food and drinks. The Cantina will have cheap food and drink specials until 8pm/9pm.

Karaoke was fun two years ago, but when you mix it with the hilarity of the 1970s Gong Show, you get an even larger drunken musical mess. Head to Foxy's in The Vegas Club for crazy karaoke with celebrity judges and our best possible Chuck Barris impersonator. Best scored karaoke gets a prize, worst karaokes get ruthlessly gonged off the stage. Costumes, props, wide polyester lapels, and lots of hats are welcome.

This will be a leisurely ride from downtown through Summerlin and returning through the pretty lakes area, including some nice mild swervies through town. We will stop for lunch and have a couple of contests were you can win prizes. First, the "heavy-hitter" contest (an electronic punching bag that records the "strength of your punch). Second, a "man vs. food"-type challenge, which offers up a 5.5lb burger that no one has ever finished. Third, a ridiculously hot "ghost-pepper wings" challenge. After lunch we'll stop for a cocktail at the popular Frankie's Tiki Lounge, desert at Luvit's Frozen Custard Shop, then return downtown.

We have the back alley blocked off behind the Downtown and Beauty Bar for scooter parking. Start the night off at the Downtown Bar for early music and drinks. Beauty Bar will kick off at 10pm. This is at the other end of the Fremont Experience (111 Las Vegas Blvd @ the corner of Fremont). LA's Police and Thieves will bring its topnotch soul and R&B so wear your dancing shoes. COST: FREE

Shine and show your scooter, meet others, and get to watch the judging for this year's scooter awards and National Build-off Competition. This event will be held in the Golden Gate parking lot. This will be a long ride through the Lake Mead Scenic Recreational Area ($3 per bike) to the MonteLago Village at the Lake Las Vegas Resort. The village is a little reproduction of a town, complete will a beautiful view of the lake and tons of fun shops. Both Auld Dubliner and Sonrisa Bar & Grill have offered up great food and drink specials just for us. Riders should keep their eyes open as there will be a 30-question "observation quiz" afterwards that could win you a prize.

A quick ride to Heat Seized Scott's shop to Dyno your scooter, smell some 2 stroke smoke and drink some beers. We've got a couple hours to kill, so meet in the parking lot to leave Sharp at 7PM. Small fee to dyno scooter.

The Plaza Hotel is letting us use their old style Rat Pack Copa Room which has tiered levels and booths overlooking the dance floor/stage. It does not get anymore old school than this! Although we cannot get in to this room until 10pm, it will be well worth it. DJs will spin scooter tunes all night long. Our band will be, off a 5 year hiatus, the Inciters playing their soulful sounds. Some special guest(s) will join them on stage for an amazing show. This event will have more style that carried by the original Rat Pack themselves. MUST HAVE RALLY PACK WRIST BAND – NOT SOLD AT DOOR. The Copa room is located in the Plaza Casino at the end of Fremont St.

This will be a lovely scoot through desert canyons and scenic parts of the outskirts of Las Vegas enroute to Red Rock Canyon (Park Entrance Fee: $3). Heatseized SC will lead us back to Fred's (see below) afterwards. This will be a fast ride, so slow scooters should consider alternatives options.

Scoot or Shuttle over to Fred's Tavern (4680 S Decatur Blvd. 1 block off Tropicana) for BBQ, drinks, and outdoor scooter events. This location was great for us and has a nice set-up with outdoor seating. It's a easy place to relax on a Sunday. Also, Harbor Freight Tools is a couple doors down, so pick up some cheap tools to take back home with you. This DJed event includes gymkhana competitions, HUGE raffle, and Vegas Rally Awards. The raffle will be held after awards and gymkhana. A shuttle bus will run from Golden Gate Parking Lot to Fred's every half hour 3pm to 7pm.
